Roxy's Story...
My name is Roxy. I am a very sweet dog, but I came from a very abusive home. My nose and jaw have been broken, but I'm not in pain. The vet says that it has healed and surgery can not help my looks. I may not be pretty but I'm love people very much, I don't have a mean bone in my body. I am good with kids and adults, but I am not a fan of cats. Some dogs I like, as long as I get to be the boss dog in the house. I do get anxious in new situations, but I promise to try to get used to man things if you bring me out and about the town with you. I know I will make a wonderful family dog.

My adoption donation is only $50

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roxy, a Ogden American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Ogden, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Ogden.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ogden already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ogden breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ogden paves the way for another one to be saved.
