Sebastian's Story...
Hi there, my name is Sebastian! Unfortunately, my humans went through a divorce, and neither could keep me. I was a well loved boy, and have continued to get lots of love and care from these great people at NBS Animal Rescue. I am always excited to meet new people and canine friends. I'm a very sociable and energetic 10-12 month old boy. I've met canine friends from 7lbs to 120lbs, and I love anyone willing to play with me. I can be a clumsy puppy and am still learning manners and not to jump up with my paws, so I would do best in a home with other dogs my size and with kids over 10yrs old. My fosters say I am a little champ. I am good in a crate, a potty training ace, and for the right treats I can sit, stay, down, and shake. I am looking for a new family to love me forever. Do you think you could help my find my forever home?

If so, pretty please share my story – so I can have a happy tail of my own to tell.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sebastian, a Troy Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Troy, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Troy.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Troy already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Troy breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Troy paves the way for another one to be saved.
