I am already spayed.
Delilah is a 1 ½ year old Aussie Shepherd mix who weighs abt 30-35 lbs. She hasn't had the best life so far but she was saved from the shelter and that was a start. Delilah had heartworms and the shelter in Arkansas was going to put her down but a nice guy came in and saved her. He took her in and paid for her heartworn treatment and kept her quiet and happy for more than a month at his own home. The vet has given her a clean bill of health and it is time for her to find her forever home. Whoever dumped her at the shelter didn't care about her... but we all did and she is ready and willing to find herself a new home just as soon as she can. Delilah is very sweet and loveable and just a little shy but warms up quickly. She has a silky coat that you would love to pet forever and ever as it is sooo soft!!! Delilah rolls over for a belly rub and she will stay in that position as long as you are petting her. She gets along great with other dogs but we don't know much of her history with cats yet. Delilah is crate trained and knows some commands. She is almost potty trained and she is still working hard to get it down pat. Look into her eyes.. they will make you melt like butter.

Why Adoption is a Great Option
Delilah, a Overland Park Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Overland Park.
Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies
of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it
much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder,
or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for
a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of
You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home.
In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who
help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten
adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
