Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Turbo, 11 Years Old - Medical Hold (Dental Cleaning/Ear Infection)
Turbo is a sweet, mellow girl. She acts like a very young 11 year old, but not hyper as her name would lead you to think. She follows her foster mom around and is very curious. She gets along well with the other 2 pugs in the house and will groom the other female. She has gotten along very well with children and people she has met and other dogs at playtime. She will "cry" when she needs to go outside and when her internal dinner alarm goes off. Like other pugs she usually is ready to eat about 2 hours before meal time. She had some weight to lose and is gradually losing. Her breathing is good and only occasionally snores a little. She loves to travel and is ready to walk or ride in the car anytime. At night she will go under the covers to your feet and when she gets too warm she'll come out and settle in by your feet on top of the covers. She has had a history of some skin allergies but we aren't seeing much now so maybe with warmer weather. She has had a history of ear infections so weekly cleaning will help to keep them away. She likes to chew on a nylabone and has had some interest in toys. Turbo is very good about going outside and doing her "business" quickly and comes in when called. Turbo will sit on your lap sometimes but loves to sit on a blanket or pillow, as any royal pug should! She does watch t.v. and will bark when a dog or animal shows up but she doesn't have a loud bark. Turbo has some clear toe nails so they are easy to trim when you can see the quick. She has let me trim her nails, although like most pugs it isn't her favorite thing. She has eye drops for dry eyes that she gets 2-3 times a day and is getting better about letting me put them in. She doesn't fight the ear cleaning as it probably feels good to get them clean. She will be getting a dental cleaning soon and will be ready to meet her furever family.
