This is Roxi and isn't she gorgeous!! A shelter volunteer says she is probably one of the softest and most petite, feminine Rottweiler she has ever met. She will dance on her back legs for you. She is very smart, loving and eager to please. She loves to interact with other dogs as long as they are friendly. She will also engage other dogs to play. Roxi likes to nuzzle and rub up against your leg so you can give her a good head scratch. She likes to cuddle and play and roll in the grass. She will get down on her elbows with her butt in the air to get some play time started. Her tail wags so hard her back end will move with it. She likes a good squeaky toy to play with too. Roxi will give you her serious puppy dog eyes to gather your attention. She is just a love. Roxi will make a great family pet. Does Roxi sound like an awesome dog. Unless otherwise indicated, all Double Dog Rescue dogs have received the following before being available for adoption:

Thorough veterinary examination

All routine annual vaccinations, including Rabies, DHLPP, Bordatella (kkennel cough), Heartworm Test, Fecal Test, Deworming

Spay/Neuter

All dogs are quarantined for two weeks outside of the shelter (puppies four weeks) to ensure they don't break with disease.

If any dog shows any signs of disease or ailment, DDR vets the dog until he or she has a clean bill of health to the best of our knowledge. This includes anything from being treated for Heartworm, Broken Leg, Cherry Eye, Torn ACL, Upper Respiratory etc.)

NOTE: Dogs who were treated for Heartworm can test positive up to 4-6 months after last treatment. All dogs are immediately put on Heartguard/Ivermectin following the treatment to kill the Heartworm larvae. All dogs should be re-tested after 4 months from the last Heartworm treatment.
