Australian Cattle Dog Mix Puppy for adoption in Alamogordo, New Mexico - Stevie (UPDATE)

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Stevie (UPDATE)'s Info...

I am good with kids and good with dogs.

Stevie (UPDATE)'s Story...
Well, the Red Heeler from yesterday is a male and not a female so I guess we should change the name from Sophie to Stevie.
Although I dont care about his name.
He is just a sweetheart but so scared.

Stevie sleeps very well in his kennel and is super quiet but I wish we could find a foster or forever home with more time for him.
He doesnt trust us and his leash skills are awful.... someone with love, time and patience for this 5 months old baby?

I don't know what terrible experience took place in his lil soul but for sure he is still a sweetheart.
He loves his pink hippo toy and treats, of course there is still a lot of hope, he is just a scared baby....

UPDATE, 2 weeks later:
Stevie walks just fine on a leash, he likes to play with other dogs and he loves to cuddle with us.
Way to go, lil guy!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stevie (UPDATE), a Alamogordo Australian Cattle Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Alamogordo, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog puppy from a breeder in Alamogordo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alamogordo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alamogordo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alamogordo paves the way for another one to be saved.
