Sandy's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Sandy's Story...
Meet Sandy. She's a petite little shepherd mix around a year old and weighing about 35 pounds. Sandy is current with vaccinations, spayed, microchipped and tested negative for heartworms. She's housebroken, crate trained and knows a few basic obedience commands. She's a very smart girl, so she should master many new commands and tricks if you will work with her. Sandy is a super sweet girl who's starved for attention. Pleasing you would make her very happy indeed. She loves people but hasn't yet been around toddlers or babies. She gets along great with other dogs but we don't know about cats. This adorable girl is ready and waiting for you to take her home with you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sandy, a Baton Rouge Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Baton Rouge, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Baton Rouge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baton Rouge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baton Rouge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baton Rouge paves the way for another one to be saved.
