Ferris's Story...
Why hello! My name is Ferris! I am about 10-11 weeks old and about 10 pounds right now, but I am a growing boy! My tale is a little sad. I was found inside of a plastic bag in a trash can when I was a day or two old. Luckily a vet found me and took very good care of me so I could survive. When I was ready the vet contacted a rescue so that I could find my forever home. Because of the lack of oxygen when I was so young, I do have some permanent brain damage. I do walk in circles a bit when I get excited and I have a little head tilt. And the biggest issue I have is that I am blind. I may be able to see some contrast and some movement, but I do not see well overall and I run into thing a lot. I am learning to adapt to my surroundings and I can even use pee pads when I feel them under my feet! I do need a little help with house breaking still as I am a baby and I cannot see well to know where I am. Even though I have a sad tale I am a very happy boy and a pretty typical puppy! I LOVE to chew on things and play with my toys. I also love a good snuggle when I have been worn out. Because I am blind, a home without a lot of stairs or a family willing to put up baby gates would be best. Besides being blind and I get a little dizzy, I am a very healthy little boy! I have been neutered, am up to date on vaccinations, de-wormed, and micro-chipped. My adoption fee is $200. If you would like to meet me please let the rescue know by filling out an application at so they can set up a time for you to meet me! See you soon!
