Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Axle is a 2 year old Border Collie male that is 55 pounds and hoping that someone will rescue him quickly. He is in an apartment all day alone and he is going bonkers with nothing to do. His mom, who adopted him merely a month ago, had not planned on a dog that needs the time and exercise that a Border Collie needs daily. She saved him from a kill shelter and now he needs to be saved from the boredom that is making him destructive due to being left alone for 9 hours daily. Axel is a good boy, affectionate and calm with people. But home alone for 8-9 hours is not working for him and the threat of being taken to a shelter to solve this problem does loom. CCR does not have a foster home available for Axel at the moment, but would entertain the offer and especially the right adoptive situation. Axel is good with other dogs and loves all people and children. He is a gentle soul that just cannot be left alone for so long. Please, someone help CCR help Axle open a new door and run through it to a new chapter of security and company in his daily life. Is someone out there lonely too? Axle is the one for you!
