My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ASH is a 1 year old black male who weighs 40 pounds (but needs to gain a bit and fill out). Ash is a cute, petite boy who is ready to rock and roll. He loves people, dogs, and did not have much reaction to the vet kitties. He's got lots of silly happy energy, and wants to play! He is a good rider, OK on leash but could use some more experience. He is kissy and fun. He is keeping his room clean at the vet and making friends fast! Approved for kids aged 10+.

Update (4/12): Anecdotes by Ash: Good morning everyone!!! Today is a wonderful day and I'm just so happy to be able to run around and play without restrictions. Reese and I do zoomies together and we are both super fast. Foster Mom just laughs at us and keeps saying that we will need a bunch of naps.

I rode with foster Mom yesterday and I got to meet Tommie Clare. She's a great lady and I really liked her. I was a wonderful car rider and I even feel asleep on the way home. We all woke up around 7:30 this morning and ate breakfast after doing our morning constitution. We are letting Hilo take it easy while we are in the backyard enjoying the birds and sun. I'm really loving being in a home and look forward to having my forever home.
Love,
Ash

Update (4/10): Anecdotes by Ash: Good evening all! Wasn't today a beautiful doggie day! As you can tell, I was enjoying the nice warm sunshine this afternoon. Foster Mom loves this picture because of my handsome "highlights" on my neck behind my ears. You can see them in the picture. Reese and I did get a chance to romp around the back yard today and we had a blast.
But now I'm going to tell my funny story from last night. Last night foster Mom did the doggie exchange so that I was outside in the yard without Reese. Well foster Mom called and I was really busy checking out something in the back yard around the swing set (later to be discovered to be rabbit poo). I didn't realize she was calling me until she walked up on me. Well I got really excited because she was there, and even though I'm not supposed to, I got a case of the zoomies! Now foster Mom was trying to get me to stop (my neutering surgery) but it just FELT SOOOO GOOD TO RUN! All of a sudden she runs inside and gets my training treats. I immediately put the brakes on and sat at her feet. She was really happy for me that I stopped.
I also got to have free run in the house today except when everyone left today for a couple of hours. I didn't get crated but I was limited to the kitchen and den. I passed with flying colors and nothing was torn up.

I often hear that I'm a good boy, a love butt, & a sweet heart. Well, time to do the nightly yard patrol.
Love,
Ash
