Diamond's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Diamond's Story...
I'm a really special girl who has an incredible will to survive! When I was rescued from a really bad situation, I needed a whole lot of medical care and TLC. My foster Mom has been great at providing both, and now I'm ready to go to my forever home.

I really like someone to be with me as much as possible - I love being with my people. I don't want a home with children around - I do much, much better with adults.

I've been spayed and I'm heartworm negative. I'm up to date with vaccinations and am on monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention.

If you'd like to meet me or have any questions about me, please complete an online adoption application and my foster home will be happy to arrange a visit! Please allow up to 72 hours for someone from New Leash to respond to your application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Diamond, a Wake Forest Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Wake Forest, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Wake Forest.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wake Forest already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wake Forest breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wake Forest paves the way for another one to be saved.
