Meet P.J.! PJ is a very handsome Dachsund / Beagle mix. He weighs about 20 solid lbs and is just over a year old. P.J. came to us from a shelter where he was nervous around strangers. He hasn't shown any of those issues in his foster home. He's a great dog! P.J. already knows how to sit and he has lots of potential to learn lots of tricks. He would love to go to training classes and even be a possible candidate for agility! He is good with other dogs and he did bark at a cat that he rode in the car with, so he may not be good with cats. P.J. would be great with an active family who enjoys going for walks or hikes. He will need daily exercise and just loves his walks and playtime with other dogs! The dog park is a little too intimidating for him but he would play with dogs in his foster home's yard all day if he could.

Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
