My story

AARF only adopts in the immediate Richmond area.

I am a sweet, beautiful beagle. I am neutered and in very good health. I was previously used to help students on their way to becoming veterinarians. I was never allowed to be a dog so I am nervous in new situations. I am now looking for a home that will help me come out of my shell. I am very treat motivated, so it doesn't take long. But this is the first time I am living in a home.

I love to play with other dogs. We run around in the yard at my foster home and sometimes even play on the bed. I love people too. They have been so nice to me. I am extremely quiet, hardly ever bark.
