Mickey's Info...

Mickey's Story...
Mickey came to rescue when his owners kinda suddenly decided to move to Kansas City so turned him into the local animal control. Apparently they don't allow dogs in Kansas City now. Dunno. Anyway, we were so happy to pull him from animal control. He's some sort of chihuahua mix we think. Mickey weighs only 9 1/2 pounds and at 7 months, he won't get much bigger. Mickey is such a cool little puppy. He's very smart, playful and affectionate. He gets along with the other dogs in his foster home and especially likes to play with Twizzle, a 26 pound mix. Someone will count themselves very lucky indeed to have found this little treasure. Mickey is neutered, up to date on all shots, heartworm negative, on heartworm/flea preventative and is microchipped. Mickey's adoption fee is $300 with all vet work done.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mickey, a House Springs Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in House Springs, or seeking a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy from a breeder in House Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in House Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a House Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in House Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
