Simon was adopted when he was a two month old kitten in November 2003. Simon has been an indoor cat in the same house since his adoption. Simon enjoys sleeping during the day after eating and then visiting with the family in the evening, when he prefers to lay at or on feet. Although he has never been around other animals, he is often willing to visit with humans during parties or family get-together's. It normally takes him between 15 minutes and a half hour to feel comfortable enough to visit with others outside the family.

Simon loves to chase wiggling string or yarn, he plays with small stuffed animals, and he will talk your ear off if you talk to him or if he's hungry.

Simon has never had any behavioral issues and has been in good health all of his life. His vaccinations are up-to-date, and he is a smart and happy.

Simon will be a great companion for whoever adopts him, and his new family will be fortunate to have him as a member. We all will miss Simon terribly, but knowing that he's in a safe place among people who love him will make the transition much easier for us.

We are willing to provide funds to assist with his care.
