Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Wants to be an ONLY DOG!
Say hi to Turner, an adorable, 2 year old, male, 30 pound, Lemon Beagle boy. Turner has completed his heartworm treatment yea! He is now ready to move on to the next step in his new life, his forever home.
Turner would be best as an only dog,Turner is a very sweet, well behaved boy and learns commands very quickly. Turner is an active boy, but not high energy, and is very affectionate, who loves to snuggle and to be with his human. He is a joy to have around, and is a very happy Beagle boy. Turner is good on a leash, so if you are a person who loves to walk and/or run, Turner would be a great walking/running partner. He is also very good in the car.
Turner’s forever home wishes include:
To be an only dog/pet. He doesn’t want any competition for love.
A single person and no children.
A large crate should at least be offered
A fenced yard of course is nice, but if not available, good long walks.
So if you would love to come home to a happy Beagle boy who wags his tail and gives plenty of kisses when he sees you, then you need to meet Turner. He truly is a real sweetheart and a gem of a Beagle.
We generally go to the Petsmart Adoption Event in Rockford, IL on the third Sunday of each month, and Turner is planning on attending Beaglefest May 17, 2014. If you would like to meet Turner but can’t get to an adoption event, contact your adoption counselor, who will get in touch with Turner’s foster home. I’m sure meet and greet arrangements can be made.
