If you're looking for a combination of high intelligence, tons of confidence and a true love of people, Shaina will exceed your expectations! Shaina is a beautiful girl who was pulled on her last day from a high-kill shelter because a dog this smart and this attentive truly deserved a second chance. She thinks she's smarter than most of the other dogs at the shelter (she might be right!) and she's attentive to all the volunteers without ever being needy or jumping up for attention. She socializes well with other dogs as long as she can be Queen which makes us think she'd probably be best matched with a male dog if there is another dog in the adopter's home. We think Shaina is about 2 years old, she weighs about 50 pounds, possibly with more to fill out, and she's a healthy girl.
