This Amor; isn't that a lovely name for a female Rott? It means LOVE. WE think that Amor is a purebred female Rottweiler. This girl is special in that she LOVES cats; yes, I said that she LOVES cats! She is not too crazy about other dogs and would prefer that they mind their own business and stay out of her personal space. As far as she is concerned, she would prefer to be the only dog in your home. Amor is currently located in an adoptable kennel at the Haven Human Animal shelter in Anderson, CA- near Redding, CA. The staff there says that if other dogs keep their distance from her, she is fine with them. The staff says that Amor is a very smart girl as she knows all her basic commands like SIT, STAY, DOWN, and LEAVE IT. She likes to fetch the ball and likes her tug toys too! Obviously, Amor was someone's special girl.
The staff admit that she is one of their personal favorite dogs at the shelter right now. The volunteers love her too. She is so special that one of their regular donors have offered to donate toward the majority of her adoption fee, leaving a VERY REASONABLE adoption fee for this special girl. The adoption fee includes her spay, microchip, Heartworm test, exam, flea and tick and heartworm preventative, and her vaccinations as well. What a deal!
