Serena is a well-built, athletic and strong girl just like her namesake of tennis fame. She may not have the competitive spirit of Ms. Williams but our Serena does love to play! She would be thrilled to have a canine playmate in her forever home and one that is the same size or larger would probably be best. She is fantastic with our bigger dogs but may play a bit too rough for small dogs. Serena is wonderful with children and is very, very attentive to her human friends. She is really smart and very excited to learn new things. She absolutely loves to play with toys and will have you in hysterics as she tosses about her stuffed animals and makes them squeak. Serena has fabulous house manners. She is quiet and calm in the house and is crate-trained and housebroken. She is terrific on lead and enjoys hiking, exploring and just taking short walks through the neighborhood. Serena is a great car rider and will be a loving, obedient and loyal companion. To meet this wonderful dog we ask that you first complete the adoption application form at www.cedarfarmrescue.com . After you have submitted the form call 336.251.8877 to set up a time to meet Serena at our adoption center in downtown Mocksville. Appointments are generally made for between the hours of noon and 4pm or after 7pm any day of the week, holidays included. Serena is spayed, microchipped and up to date on all of her shots. She has tested negative for heartworms and is on monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas and ticks. She is about 2 years old and weighs 43 lbs.
