Profile: Lucy was adopted from BRLA years ago and Parker joined the family 5 years ago as another rescue. Life has been grand and all set for life until owner found out he was being transferred to China. His beloved Boxers need a new home ASAP. Best description comes from owner himself:
This is the hardest thing I've had to do in a very long time. I have two adorable, loving boxer dogs; a boy and girl; they are not littermates but have lived together for about 5 years. They are approximately 6-7 years old and have plenty of energy and life left in them.
My job is relocating me and I cannot take them with me! I need to find a home where they can continue living together. They are so sweet. They were both rescued from different shelters and have had the very best life I could provide. They get regular medical checkups, are very well groomed, and most of all, love being around people. I would like to find a home where they can live both indoors and outdoors as they love to hang outside in the sun and play, but also love being around people so much. I want them to go to a home that has experience handling boxers and will give them the proper exercise and care. Parker can be tentative around other male dogs and therefore we do not go to dog parks/beaches, but he loves walks. Lucy loves the basking in the sunshine.
I have worked from home for several years and they have accustomed to having people around and truly enjoy the presence of humans. I want them to have an easy transition and will donate all their worldly possessions: both indoor and outdoor doggie beds, food/water bowls, leashes, harnesses, toys, food receptacle, doggie door for sliding glass door.
Parker and Lucy are not at BRLA. They are currently residing in San Diego and can be available to meet by private appointment. Please ask for them by name so we can work out meeting logistics.
