Wilma's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Wilma's Story...
Wilma is an approximately 3-4 year old poodle mix. She is very loving and her favaorite time is "snuggle-time". Wilma loves anything and everything that comes her way. She gets along great with cats, other dogs, and kids. Wilma is looking for a forever home to give her the love and attention she deserves. Wilma came to the rescue with her sister (Betty) and these two girls are very attached therefore we do require Wilma and Betty be adopted together. Wilma will be spayed, up to date on shots, and on heartworm preventative before an adoption is finalized.

If you are interested in Betty and Wilma please email pacc@pacconline.org or submit an online adoption questionnaire at www.pacconline.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wilma, a Franklin Poodle (Standard)/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Standard)/Dachshund for sale in Franklin, or seeking a Poodle (Standard)/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Franklin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Franklin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Franklin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Standard)/Dachshund breeders who help with Poodle (Standard)/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Franklin paves the way for another one to be saved.
