My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This big handsome black boy is Rick. He is a beautiful 2 year old labby boy with long slender legs and a soft shiny black coat. He is of average size for a male weighing about 60 lbs. Rick has personality plus and a twinkle in his eye. How could anyone resist that sweet face. Rick came to us from a rural shelter where he found himself after being picked up for wandering around all by himself. He is a good boy who likes everyone. He does great with other dogs and has fun times romping with his canine buddies. Rick's tail goes a mile a minute when he sees someone approaching and he is excited to get some extra attention and some hugs. He would be considered a medium energy boy and settles down nicely after playtime. He loves being with his people and likes the quiet time in front of the TV just chilling or hanging out in the yard helping with the springtime yard work. Rick would make a great buddy and companion for just about anyone. He would love to join you on walks, runs, hiking or romping on the beach - anything you want to do. Rick is a smart boy and learns quickly, making him a great candidate for obedience classes. He is neutered, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations including rabies and is micro-chipped. Rick has also been kept on flea/tick and heartworm preventive and he is also crate trained. We are not sure about cats, but can cat test if necessary.
