THIS IS OUR LITTLE SWEETPEA....and she got her name because I kept calling her "sweetpea" and it just took! This little 4 yr old, tri colored, 12 lb angel came to us from the Carson shelter, blind as a bat....but she had juvenile cataracts, and she was young and healthy enough, there was no reason to not do surgery if we could fix her sight. She was matted, dirty....and blind....but didn't need to be so.....now, voila...SWEETPEA CAN SEE!!! We did the surgery and she came out smelling like a rose.....or a sweetpea!!! This little girl is so full of love. She is affectionate, playful, happy, easy going...and she even seems to be potty trained! Now that she can see, she is starting to play with the other dogs...who actually don't want to play too much! When she is with dogs who play, she will also play! She also loves to run around the house and entertain herself! Life is changing for this little one, now that she has vision. She could go to almost any home....as long as someone is there to give her lots of love and attention. We don't think she got very much in her life before her vision was restored. She is a favorite at Lhasa Happy Homes and we know she will be overjoyed to be in her forever home, as her new parents will be with her!

We currently hold our weekly adoption events every Sunday (unless we are doing a special event) at the WESTFIELD CENTURY CITY MALL located at 10250 Santa Monica Blvd., Century City, Los Angeles 90067. Enter off Santa Monica Blvd and park in the ORANGE section in the parking structure. Take the escalator up and follow the signage. We will be located near the Brooks Brothers (look for the purple tent in the Plaza between the two buildings) from 12 - 4PM
Here you will have an opportunity to interact with the dogs and see which might be a perfect fit with your household....and do some fantastic shopping at the same time! Please do call us if you are coming to see a particular dog to make sure he/she will be at adoptions (we do not bring sick dogs to our adoption events). Please bring a copy of your application and pictures of your home and yard if we have not done a home check! Most importantly, if you have a dog, make sure you bring him or her to do a compatibility match with the dog you are interested in adopting!
