My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Age: 5 years
Gender: Male
Color: Black & White
Weight: 38 lbs
Variety: Field

Here's Tut! He's looking to be the "king" of a new home sometime soon. As you might guess, Tut's given name is Tutankhamun, but he prefers to be called by his nickname, Tut.

Tut came to ESRA when his family realized that he had too much energy for their calm lifestyle. Tut previously lived with another dog, and he now lives with other dogs in his foster home. He loves to play and wrestle with them. However, if the cats in his foster home run, he will chase them.

This little peanut is shy when he first meets people, but he soon warms up and becomes the best snuggle boy you could imagine. You can see that he doesn't appreciate cameras focusing on him, either. When we tried to take his picture, he hid under his foster mom's legs!

Did someone say commands? Tut knows Sit, Stay, and Come. He is also housetrained and crate trained, although he does fine with free rein in the house when his foster family is away.

And car rides? Yes, please! Tut will go anywhere you'd like, and he's ready to be your co-pilot. If you're looking for a new king of your house, please contact Tut's case managers.

Please note that an approved adoption application is the first step in a more thorough interview process that is designed to match each dog to exactly the right family, and that the final decision rests with the dog's case manager.

Please read the Adoption FAQ and get an Adoption Application approved before inquiring about Tut.
