Olaf's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Olaf's Story...
Olaf and his friend, a female Lab ,were surrendered to a small, rural kill shelter in Tennessee. Olaf was a very skinny and pitiful boy. The shelter staff has fattened him up a bit and contacted this rescue to try and save him. Unfortunately, all foster homes are full right now, so we are hoping someone will fall in love with this sweet dog and adopt him. Then we can get him out of the shelter and neutered & up to date on all shots. Olaf is about 2 yrs old, good with other dogs and very friendly with people. Olaf's doggie friend was adopted and he is now very sad. Although the staff at this shelter is very caring; space is limited and unless someone adopts this nice dog, sadly he will be euthanized. These large Hounds are very loyal and loving and do make great family pets. Please consider giving him a chance. Olaf, a Allentown Treeing Walker Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Treeing Walker Coonhound for sale in Allentown, or seeking a Treeing Walker Coonhound dog from a breeder in Allentown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Allentown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Allentown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Treeing Walker Coonhound breeders who help with Treeing Walker Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Allentown paves the way for another one to be saved.
