Baxter, an adorable puppy was born on March 1 just 2 days after his/her VERY pregnant Catahoula mix Mama wandered into a Walmart in Oklahoma. Despite his thin, exhausted mom, and their long journey to Illinois, this little one is thriving! He nurses, sleeps, goes potty and plays with his siblings all day long. He loves people and is a great snuggler. Baxter will be ready for adoption on approximately April 26, but we are accepting applications on this pup now. If approved, you'll have the opportunity to meet Baxter and put down a deposit towards his adoption. If you think he would fit perfectly into your family, don't wait to apply. One of his sisters has already been adopted and will go to her home on April 26th when he is 8 weeks old.
The foster home in Naperville is where you would go to meet this puppy with an approved application or the foster may go to you. You can find the canine adoption application at our website at angelsonwheels.org which is required prior to scheduling a meet and greet.
The adoption fee of $300.00 includes: The spaying, microchip, up-to-date on routine vaccination for distemper-adenovirus-parainfluenze-parvo, rabies if over 4months, dewormed with panacur, treated revolution, and any other medical needs.
You will also receive a free office visit to either Crest Hill Cat and Dog Clinic, Yorkville Animal Hospital, Midwest Animal Hospital in Orland Park, Woodridge Animal Hospital, Springbrook Animal Care, Elmhurst Animal Hospital or Naperville Animal Hospital, and also a coupon booklet for Petco.
