Moo's Story...
Hi my name is Moo. I am living large as my old owner fed me a ton. I was found matted, full of ticks, and about 20 lbs overweight. I am on a strict diet and exercise routine, so am a work in progress. I am looking for an active person that is willing to help rehabilitate me. I need to lose a bit more weight before moving into a permanent home, but am looking for adoring eyes now!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Moo, a Phoenix Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu breeders who help with Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
