My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is gorgeous Missy. She is an energetic and active young lady who turns into the most tail-wagging, butt-wiggling girl you can imagine when she sees a person. Any person! She absolutely loves attention and is always on the lookout for pats and ear rubs and whatever else she can get.

She is about 3 years old and weighs about 60 lbs. She might tip over into the "large" category once we put a couple of pounds on her as she is just a little underweight. Missy was brought into a local shelter as a stray. She must have had a pretty good home at one point, because she is very well-socialized with people and knows basic obedience commands. She pulls just a little on the leash but settles down quickly after the initial excitement of going for a walk.

Missy learns very quickly and would love a home where she has some yard to carry a big stick around and an active family to take her for walks and play. We're taking it slowing figuring out how she is with cats but so far our resident tester, Amos, is giving her two paws up.
