My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

POUR FAIRE UNE DEMANDE D'ADOPTION POUR CE CHIEN, SVP CONSULTER NOTRE SITE WEB: WWW.ANIMATCH.CA ET NOUS SOUMETTRE LE FORMULAIRE D'ADOPTION. MERCI.

Sadly, after several months Copine was returned. Although the family loved her, they felt that she was not the right dog for them due to some separation anxiety. As we often mention in our bios, breeding dogs do need love but more importantly they need patience, understanding, and stability. Copine is an amazing dog with lots of love to give; we must ensure that her next home is her last. An experienced guardian, preferably with another well adjusted dog, would be ideal. She is so worth the effort.

At Animatch we open our hearts, our hands, and our homes to help dogs in need. Although they are all special, now and then there is one that touches our heart and warms our soul. Meet Copine, a Cocker Spaniel, who just can’t stop wiggling with pure joy at the attention and kindnesses being shown to her. Copine has spent her life as a breeding dog so cuddles, belly rubs, and long walks have never been part of her routine. For this reason we felt that Copine needed some extra TLC and one of our Volunteer/Foster Mom stepped in. Copine greets the day with pure joy, always ready for a new experience or adventure. She has now climbed stairs for the first time, gone on her first walk in the grass, and slept in her very own soft bed. Does it get any better! Copine gets along well with other dogs and has no problem sharing her space with cats. Life may not always have been great for Copine, but she is so ready to face the future with a family who will love and appreciate her for the awesome spirit that she is. Please fill in the Adoption Form if you would like to adopt Copine.

“Dogs love company. They place it first in their short list of needs.”
