Magic is an adolescent Flat Coat Retriever mix who just happens to be a diamond in the rough. She came to Animatch as a stray. Although we have no history on her, chances are she was taken in by a family who couldn’t resist a cute puppy. A year later, after no one took the time to train or exercise her and she has lost her puppy cuteness, then she is thrown out like trash. Magic is presently at FIC (Ecole de Formation des Intervenants Canins du Quebec) where Virginie Forest and Alain Bonneau are doing their best to turn her into someone else’s treasure. They agree that Magic is a young healthy dog who is full of energy and playfulness. She enjoys human attention and has no major behaviour problems. Magic gets along well with other dogs and would enjoy a canine companion. She does tend to get overexcited which leads to jumping and getting mouthy; therefore, a home without young children would best suit her. Magic is an excellent student and learns quickly; she is being trained to walk on a gentle leader and enjoys being outdoors discovering her surroundings. She is a wonderful dog who with continued training will be a welcome addition to her family. If you are interested in adopting Magic, please fill in the Adoption Form.
