This is a courtesy listing. Ruby is in Bend, OR.
Ruby is an 11 month old gorgeous German Shepherd with a Black Blanket coat and speckled sable socks - pictures do her no justice! She had a hard start in life losing her 1st 2 homes through no fault of her own and in the process lacks the socialization on day to day things to feel self assured on life. She is very sweet and loyal beyond all things.
She is looking for a home with a dog or multiple dogs to be her companion and teach her the ways of happy fun dog life - she so enjoys dog companionship and doesn't do well being completely alone so a dog is a must at her new home.
She is house/crate trained, learning her leash and off leash skills and basic obedience in her current foster home - she loves to learn ! She is great with all dogs, does good with kitties that know dogs too.
Her current foster home has older children and this would be okay provided she had a strong pack leader to set up hierarchy in the home. However, we do feel her perfect home would be adult only with dogs/cats that limits the daily commotion in her world as she blossoms into the wonderful dog she will be. Too much stimulation and comings and goings make her anxious right now, so less is more for her, someone with familiarity of the Shepherd breed would be a bonus, but not a requirement.
Ruby is so loving and so ready to bond and end all the loss and changes in her home life and to find her perfect forever home. She is go home ready now! Spayed and up to date on all vaccines. She is currently located in Bend, OR.
