Hershi's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Hershi's Story...
Hershi is about 6 months old. He's about 35 pounds now, and his big feet say he could be a big boy when he grows up! Hershi was rescued from the Stockton pound with a horrible wound left by an embedded collar (that's when the neck grows around a too-small collar), so we know he was at least neglected in his short life, but he is as sweet as can be. He just wants to play with the other dogs in his foster home, and he is very loving and trusting with his people. Hershi would love a home with people who treat their pets like family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hershi, a Valley Springs American Pit Bull Terrier/Great Dane puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/Great Dane for sale in Valley Springs, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/Great Dane puppy from a breeder in Valley Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Valley Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Valley Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/Great Dane breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Valley Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
