Allison's Story...
Hello, I'm Allison, a rescued Black Mouth Cur. I'm 1 year young.

My friends at Dixie County Humane Society say I'm an amazing, playful girl. You see, when I was rescued by Dixie County Humane Society, I had been hit by a car. The nice people there took me to the doctor and got me all better! I wasn't supposed to be ready for my furever home until May 15, but I've made such progress, I'm ready now!

I'm full of love and play, and I get along with other dogs.

I've been through a lot. But now I'm all better. When I go to sleep at night, I wish that I will find my furever home. If you'd like to meet me, call Pamela at 352-542-1081.

Adoption fee is $175. Adoption fee is for all vetted costs, spayed and up to date on all shots.

Thank you for considering a Rescue doggie!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Allison, a Old Town Black Mouth Cur dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Black Mouth Cur for sale in Old Town, or seeking a Black Mouth Cur dog from a breeder in Old Town.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Old Town already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Old Town breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Black Mouth Cur breeders who help with Black Mouth Cur rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Old Town paves the way for another one to be saved.
