Here's what the humans have to say about me:

or phone 661-713-3592 We adopted Lilly from a Castaic Shelter adoption event at Pet Co 3 years ago. They told us she is a German Shepard/Corgi mix and that is exactly what she looks like. Very cute. She is current all on her shots. She is a very sweet looking dog and very loyal to owners. With owners, she is quiet and doesn't have any annoying habits like chewing or misbehaving when owners are away. At that time of adoption, we had no young children in the house. The shelter people warned us that she was not good with men but she didn't misbehave at the event and my husband is a big animal lover so we thought we could handle that. The shelter people told us she had been mistreated so we thought with love and care any issues could be resolved. They did ask us if we had small children in the house and at that time we had none. They also said she had been returned twice to the shelter and if no one adopted her she would be put down. Our hearts went out to her as she seemed so sweet and smart.
In the past three years my daughter was married and we now have a 1 year old grandson. We've discovered that Lilly is a very protective dog. If we have visitors to the house, she will bark incessantly and we haven't been able to control that. If someone moves in the direction of me or my husband, she is especially aggressive and recently bit a friend and made an aggressive move to our grandson. As I said, we've had her for three years, trying to change her behavior, but to no effect. We don't want to be negative about Lilly, but we want people to understand what she is really like.
I think in a home with people who had more time to train her, she might be better behaved. But, we think she should not be in a home with young children. Contact owner Hillary West Phone 661-713-3592 or email hillary.west@sbcglobal.net
