My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This beautiful young girl is DIXIE. It is hard to express just what a joy she is. She spends her days in a large, fenced in kennel at the rescue. Being a dog of this size and age, she needs a LOT of daily activity and exercise, but sadly, gets very little. Despite this, when she's taken out, instead of being a raging, hyper, crazy dog, she walks gently by your side and never even jumps. Not once will she jump on you. The energy stored up just must be insane, but you'd never know it by her exceptional disposition. Not to say that she doesn't have energy to spare ……. When given the opportunity, she's more than happy to run her little heart out, but she listens and minds incredibly well. She is capable of doing anything and so willing to learn. She is attentive and alert, and most definitely loving! This girl would make an excellent therapy dog, bomb sniffing dog, Police dog, Agility dog, or just an awesome, everyday companion! The sky's the limit! She's already spayed and current on all of her shots.
