Facts about Pal

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Black (All)
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Male
  • Hair: Short
I was found as a tiny 2 week old orphan. My siblings and I were bottle fed and fostered until we found homes. I finally got adopted by a great family with my brother, But our adoptive mom got sick and the doctor told her she should not have pets. She found a home for my brother but she had trouble finding a home for me. Black cats are still harder to find homes for, I have no idea why. Some people call us bad luck and others call us good luck. It all depends on which story you are reading at the time. Cats are cats and just want to be loved and petted.
I have lived with children and am very loving. I love to be petted and will sit on your lap and purr. I hid for the first few hours when taken to a new place but adjusted quickly. Now I just want to find a new forever home to relax and share all my love with someone. J
I am up to date on my vaccines and ready to go home with you. Are you ready to take me home? J

About Homes for Pets

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a group of animal lovers who volunteer our time and talents to help homeless needy pets find new homes. Many of our pets come from life or death situations, or abusive situations. Some pets come from city shelters. We also list animals that are still with their owner, but for one reason or another the owner can no longer keep them. Our dogs and cats live in foster homes, not in a shelter. You don't have to wonder if a dog or cat is good with kids, or other dogs or cats. You will usually know if they are. We work on housebreaking and basic manners as well.

ALL of our animals, even those we list for owners trying to re-home their pets, must be spayed/neutered to help control the serious animal overpopulation in this area.
