Milo's Story...
Milo
Male
Jack Russell Terrier
DOB: 3/17/13
Weight: 10 Pounds

Fun, and adventure is what Milo is looking for as he goes about his day. He loves people and generally gets along well with other dogs, but sometimes likes to be a bit bossy. That comes with being small and young and thinking he has to protect himself. Milo would love to have a family that would protect him so that he could relax and not worry so much. He loves to be cuddled and will instantly fall asleep when someone holds him. Milo and cats would not be a good mix, so a home that he does not have to share with cats would be best.

A good romp and play outside would suite Milo just fine. He might even want to give agility a try. He is housetrained with a doggie door and would love to be a part of a family that would enjoy taking him for walks and play games with him. He would benefit from positive reinforcement training so that he could show just how nice a companion he can be.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Milo, a Mountain Center Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Mountain Center, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Mountain Center.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mountain Center already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mountain Center breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mountain Center paves the way for another one to be saved.
