Lizette's Story...
Hi My name is Lizette (temporary) I was rescued from Carson animal shelter and boy was I happy. They took me to the vet and the vet thinks I am about 2 1/2, years of age. I was used as a breeding dog, have had several liters, my boobies show all of the work I had to do, and once my humans were done with me, they let me go. I waited and waited at the shelter wondering if they would come for me but they never did. It's ok, I am lucky now, I am 1/2 way to my forever home, and I don't have to have a job giving birth so my humans can pay rent.

So here is my personality.. I am a goof ball, I have energy, love to play, love to give kisses, and even though I am 43 lbs. I just love to cuddle with my human. I walk good on a leash but I like to criss cross. I have a good disposition, gets along with other dogs, I'd be ok with being the only dog as well, as long as my human spent enough time with me.. I don't think I want to be left alone all day, everyday. I am sleeping in a crate and I am pretty comfy in there, a bed next to your bed or even better, in your bed would suit me fine as well.

Genetically,, I have been blessed, no issues with eyes, hips, knees, or any of the other typical bulldog issues. I need a refresher course in potty training. Due to the liters that I was forced to have, my boobies sag.. I also have a scar on the outer part of my left ear. the vet said it appears that I was attacked by flies. It does not bother me at all, but it is visible.

If you think you want to be my forever home, please email my rescue, tell them a little about yourself and your living situation. and they will contact you if you feel you can give me my perfect home. I need to be in a single story home with a back yard.. I'd like to have a human play with me, understanding that I can play too hard or rough. I get along with other dogs, but I do like a lot of attention from my human, so the dog would have to be submissive. Can't wait to meet you. XO

Application, home check, contract and adoption fees apply.

Thank you for your decision to adopt.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lizette, a Playa Del Rey Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bulldog for sale in Playa Del Rey, or seeking a Bulldog dog from a breeder in Playa Del Rey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Playa Del Rey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Playa Del Rey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bulldog breeders who help with Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Playa Del Rey paves the way for another one to be saved.
