My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Paul has been with us for not quite 3 weeks now and is starting to enjoy life outside of a crate or kennel. I suspect he didn’t have much exposure to being outside before because he really enjoys his time in our back yard. Lying sprawled out on the grass (even if it’s wet) is his idea of the “good life”. Also high on his list, is throwing stuffy toys up in the air and trying to catch them. His manners inside the house are doing fine. Now that he is getting used to home life he is beginning to test his limits with toy possession and his personal space, but is responding well as to what is acceptable and what is not. He sleeps all night just fine on the floor by our bed and although he is crated when we leave the house, it causes him some anxiety.

Paul is one of the best behaved dogs on leash we have had. Although we do not have stairs, he did very well on his first experience with them. He’s also good in a car and enjoys meeting new people and dogs. Paul seems fine with small children and small dogs, but is not perfect with cats. He is turning out to be a sweet boy who always wants to be with you. His ideal forever home would be one with a fenced back yard, no cats and humans who wouldn’t have to crate him much and like having a good companion.
