Meet Chyler! What a gorgeous girl! She likes to follow humans around. She will nuzzle your leg to get your attention and rub up against you to get you to give her a good head scratch. She will be a good cuddle buddy too. She likes to play with other dogs and will engage them to play with her. She likes a good squeaky toy too. She is food motivated and this will be easier to train/teach tricks. You can pull her ears or tail with no reaction which makes her a good canidate for a family with kids. She would also be a good companion for a senior. The shelter says she is sweet and cute. Can you give her the forever home this cutie deserves? Fill out an adoption application.

If you would like to adopt Chyler, please contact Corrie at doubledogcorrie@yahoo.com

Unless otherwise indicated, all Double Dog Rescue dogs have received the following before being available for adoption:

Thorough veterinary examination

All routine annual vaccinations, including Rabies, DHLPP, Bordatella (kkennel cough), Heartworm Test, Fecal Test, Deworming

Spay/Neuter

All dogs are quarantined for two weeks outside of the shelter (puppies four weeks) to ensure they don't break with disease.

If any dog shows any signs of disease or ailment, DDR vets the dog until he or she has a clean bill of health to the best of our knowledge. This includes anything from being treated for Heartworm, Broken Leg, Cherry Eye, Torn ACL, Upper Respiratory etc.)

NOTE: Dogs who were treated for Heartworm can test positive up to 4-6 months after last treatment. All dogs are immediately put on Heartguard/Ivermectin following the treatment to kill the Heartworm larvae. All dogs should be re-tested after 4 months from the last Heartworm treatment.
