Update 06/15/14: Hi Yorkie fans, it's your best pal Cashew again! I've realized I will never catch those darn squirrels and decided I would rather develop my couch potato skills! My FM's family moved in, and I just love that people are home all day. I snuggle next to them. My foster home now has three cats, a big dog and three small dogs including me, and everyone just loves me. I still like being held like a baby, being petted, and I am a very good doggy when being brushed and bathed. FM says I am just perfect in every way. You'd never know I am nine years old, I am so cute and energetic. And you'd never guess I have no teeth either, as long as my dry food is mixed with wet food I can eat like a champ. FM's family says I am as sweet as can be. Adopt me, and you will know what true love really means.
Updated Bio 05/06/2014: Hello! It's me, Cashew. I'm a 9 year old Yorkshire Terrier that is being fostered in Homestead, FL. My charm and sweetness have completely won over FM and her whole family - they say I am the best foster ever! Even the cats like me, as do the big dogs, the normally-cranky old poodle who curls up next to me, and all the neighborhood dogs who sniff me through their fences and wag their tails when I go for walks. The people like me because I like being held like a baby, I like sitting next to people on sofas, and I just adore going for walks. I also like chasing squirrels! I hardly ever bark. I love treats and getting petted. And I will look at you with eyes of love. I'm now a healthy weight, and I eat with gusto. Thanks for thinking of adopting me for a forever home!
Initial Bio 04/05/2014: MEET CASHEW! Cashew is 9 years young and weighs only 5.8 lbs; he is being fostered in Homestead, FL.
Lucky me! I was rescued from a high-kill shelter by United Yorkie Rescue. I don't remember how I ended up in there, but I'm so happy to be out! I'm loving life now. My FM took me to the dogtor for a check-up and to fix the little hole I had in my gums inside my mouth (oral nasal fistula) and then the dogtor took out the last couple of toofers I had because they were in really bad shape and they hurt me a lot. I also had a neuter and all of my vaccines. Dogtor says I'm completely healthy! Yay for me!
FM says I'm smart because I'm house-trained and I'm always on my best behavior. I also love to cuddle, give kisses and play. I like other doggies and I don't mind cats. I really love going out for walks and enjoying the breeze on my face. I also like to run and play in the back yard, too. You can say I love to be out and about & meeting new people; but most of all I love to be cuddled up on a lap or in my bed. FM says I give the best kisses! I'm ready to share my yummy kisses with my new family.
NOTE: FM said that since I'm a little guy, I need to go to an adult only home. No children! So if you think you would love to have me for your own, please contact my FM for more information.
