Here's what the humans have to say about me:
6 y/o female, special needs, no small children, $175 adoption fee
Masako was shy with people when she first came to rescue, but she has grown more and more confident. It still takes her a little time to get completely comfortable with people, but when she does, she is super affectionate. Sometimes Masako finds it stressful when her people leave.
Masako has glaucoma and had one eye removed; her other eye is “pre-glaucoma” at this time. She needs special drops in her eyes daily and regular visits to the ophthalmologist. Sudden movement can sometimes startle her, especially when approaching from her blind side.
Masako does well with other dogs and is also good with cats. She would benefit from another, well-socialized, dog in the home to show her the ropes. She doesn’t play with other dogs, but seems to like having them around. Masako is potty trained and has made a lot of progress with leash-walking.
Masako’s adoption fee is $175 which includes her spay, microchip, de-worming, vaccinations, eye surgery and a 6 week professional training course.
