My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Jax! He is around 5 mo old and 25 lbs. He is a super sweet mellow pup. He is a little shy at first but will cuddle up with you in no time. He came all the way from Louisiana. We are surprised he has not been adopted yet.

The Empty Shelter Project operates as a foster-based animal rescue. We do not have an actual facility for viewing dogs but potential adopters are welcome to meet dogs at our adoption events at PetValu every Sunday from 11-3. If you see a specific pet you would like to meet, please contact us in advance to make sure they will be at the event. PetValu is located at 10079 Market Circle Dr, Manassas VA 20110.
