Patsy's Story...
Hi there I'm Patsy! I am so happy to meet you! You must be smart because you click on MY pictures! I am a fantastic dog and guess what I'm TOTALLY housetrained! I hear humans really like that... I don't see the big deal but I like to make humans happy. Once I was scared of humans but now I live with my foster dad and he taught me they are SO NICE! I love people now and I love other dogs too! I have a lab foster brother named Aubie and I like to bop him on the head. I think he likes it but he looks at me like I'm a silly puppy. I'm a little bit of a silly puppy I guess. I'm around a year old and around 50lbs. I have awesome Amber eyes and a precious face (well that's what other people say haha, I'm not trying to brag). I don't mind cats and I think kids are great. I'm up to date on vaccines, spayed, microchipped, and heartworm negative. I'm currently being fostered in Huntsville, AL but I'm not picky about where I end up! Please email info@FORrescue.net to get more information about me or send an application at http://www.FORrescue.net

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Patsy, a Hagerstown Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Hagerstown, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Hagerstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hagerstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hagerstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hagerstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
