My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bella was out of time at a city pound but once we rescued her and took her to Petsmart, she was adopted her first day! She has a gentle, loving, sweet nature, but the family head of household had never had an indoor cat and detested cat hair. This went on for several months then they decided to return her, but changed their mind as the return day was at hand. Then after a full year, they decided to return her because she was throwing up daily. They said the vet sold them special food that did not work, and Bella threw up so frequently they put her in a room by herself and the constant throwing up rendered the room unfit for human use. They also wanted to trade her for a kitten. Well, suffice to say we've had her over 6 weeks and she has been in the Petsmart pet center over 2 weeks, and she hasn't thrown up once. She's too sweet and beautiful to be rejected and detested; animals know when people are stressing out and resenting them. Honestly, I wish she WOULD throw up -- seeing a big hairball ejected seems normal and we've seen just about all the other cats up chuck one in the past month! There are lots of ways to ease hairballs: brushing, choosing a food formulated to handle hairballs, treats or gels to help hairballs, or even just a little butter smeared well onto a paw occasionally all help. Come meet Bella -- she's 6 years old and she needs a family to love her and accept her as part of the family.
