My story

Rusty is an adorable 6.5 lb, 7 year old Pomeranian. Don't let the age of 7 scare you away from this treasure. Eight is a young for a toy breed and Rusty certainly has the health and behavior of a young dog. Rusty is playful and affectionate. This tiny boy gets along well with other dogs, walks well on a leash, does well in the car, is house trained, and LOVES to cuddle. If you are looking for a constant companion, Rusty is your boy. He is an overall GREAT little dog that is looking for a new home through no fault of his own. Do you have room in your home and heart for Rusty? If so, please apply online at www.codrl.org. Central Ohio Dog Rescue is not a shelter. All of our dogs are fostered in our homes and treated as family until they are adopted. We will not ship dogs and all adopters will need to complete an application before meeting one of our dogs. Puppies too young to be spayed/neutered will be adopted out with a spay/neuter agreement and refundable deposit. Dogs/puppies are NOT adopted out of state without a positive vet reference. Prospective adopters must be at least 24 years of age to adopt. All pets in the household must be spayed/neutered and current on vaccinations and heartworm. We process many applications and may not respond to every applicant. We try to chose the best home for each dog based upon the individual dog's needs.
