ADOPTED 2014; unavailable. Original bio below:
Gracie is a 3 year old, pure-bred Yorkshire Terrier female. Her birthdate is 12-1-2010. Gracie is very gentle and laid back. She's loves cuddling and belly rubs. She's a sweet, affectionate girl with an excellent temperament. She doesn't care much for walks and isn't used to being in a harness. She uses a doggie door to go out to potty, and with bad weather, uses a washable piddle pad. She's lived with Yorkies and Maltese dogs her entire life and needs at least one other small K9 friend in her forever home (not older than 7 years and not bigger than 13 lbs). She would do well in a quieter home with an individual or couple; working full-time outside the home is fine as long as she has another appropriate dog friend. No small/young children. Older children may be ok. Gracie is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, has recently had a vet exam, blood work, and a dental done by our vet. She's overweight at 12 lbs and needs to lose 3-4 lbs. This is common for kibble fed dogs. Most kibble is loaded with carbohydrates; dogs don't properly digest it and it packs on the pounds quickly. She's now on the appropriate diet and the weight will come off easily. Gracie's adoption donation is $400 and includes her lifetime microchip registration.
