Biscuit's Story...
We really don't know what breed beautiful Biscuit is. She is a mutt and it is hard to know. She might have Pointer she might have some Pit Bull Terrier, actually she is a mix of many things, but she is a sweet, gentle elderly dog that really needs a home. Biscuit is 11 years old and she weighs just 39 pounds. Biscuit is what we call an “active senior”. She is spry and will make a great family pet. Biscuit is losing her home because her owner is too ill to continue to care for her. She is docile and calm, when we took her to the vet she was calm and well behaved even as they drew blood for testing. Biscuit is also very loving and affectionate. Please give an old girl a chance and a place for another home. She will reward you with love and companionship. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Biscuit, a Oakland Gardens Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer for sale in Oakland Gardens, or seeking a Pointer dog from a breeder in Oakland Gardens.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oakland Gardens already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oakland Gardens breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer breeders who help with Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oakland Gardens paves the way for another one to be saved.
