My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

COCO is a 6 year old black spayed female who weighs 44 pounds. Coco is a very nice girl that loves to be petted. She is house trained and likes to sleep on a dog bed at night. Coco loves to go for walks and always greets other dogs with a friendly greeting. She used to live with a few other dogs in her previous home. She has never lived with cats but seems to want to play with the cats she meets outside. She would love to find a home that will take her on long walks, or runs and to the dog park. Coco also loves to go swimming! Coco loves to look out the window. She thumps her tail enthusiastically and becomes mesmerized when someone pets her. She does not care for the crate, but she is very calm in the house. She waited for an invitation to sit on the couch . She's approved for kids aged 10+.

Update (4/17): Life is good these days for Coco. She sleeps like a log until about 8am, walks well on a leash, is respectful to the resident senior dog and does not beg or whine for food. Best of all, she has been adjusting to crate time, she spent about 2 hrs there while alone in the house without a problem. Her favorite thing to do is sit quietly by the side of her family. She is a very gentle and loving dog.
