My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet the Magnificent Mutts of SAFE Class XVIII! This class is proving to be an outstanding one, and why not? Studies have shown that MUTTS (Mixed Uniquely, Terrifically Trained, at SAFE) are healthier, live longer, and are more intelligent than their purebred brothers and sisters. These dogs have been in training for only two weeks and are amazing their trainers with their grasp of commands and tricks. The dogs are neutered, housetrained, crate trained, able to walk on a loose leash, on flea/tick/heartworm preventative, and able to perform tricks. Their graduation date is June 13, 2014 and applications will be taken until May 30. Please go to safehavenky@gmail.com to request an application. The adoption fee is $150.00.
Howdy from Holly! I am a two-three year old Lab/Foxhound mix and if you want all the positive attributes of my Lab ancestry in a small package, I am the gal for you. I learned all my commands in one week, that's right, one week! I have overheard the trainers say how smart I am. That may be true, but I also like to please them. Why, they even point their fingers at me and say "Bang," and guess what I do. Yes, I roll over very dramatically and play dead. I love all humans and my trainers say I would be an excellent companion for anyone, especially children. I am content in my crate and I never whine (like some of the others, but I won't name names.). I will say that I am a little stand-offish with other dogs at first, but I generally warm up to them.
